Make Up For Ever in Shanghai seeks an E‑commerce Key Account Manager (Tmall) to lead Tmall strategy, media and CRM for the Perfumes & Cosmetics business.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and align Tmall (TAO) platform communication and media strategy, incorporating owned, paid and earned channels.
- Develop and maintain an annual Tmall animation/calendar tied to product launches and commercial peaks to maximise conversion and ROI.
- Plan, execute and optimise in‑site paid media to drive direct traffic and deliver measurable ROI for Tmall flagship store(s).
- Ensure premium, up‑to‑date brand content on the platform; lead content calendar and shorten lead times where required.
- Establish clear KPIs for Tmall performance (sell‑in, sell‑out, traffic, CRM activation) and monitor weekly; adjust tactics rapidly to meet targets.
- Collaborate with CRM, product marketing, trade marketing, PR and sales to recruit and activate customers and leverage private‑domain traffic.
- Generate actionable business insights from competitive intelligence, CRM and platform data to fuel growth and new e‑tailer opportunities.
- Manage relationships with Taobao Partners (TP), platform contacts and external agencies to secure efficient execution and commercial outcomes.
- Coach and coordinate internal stakeholders and TP staff to ensure seamless cross‑functional execution and high operational discipline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in e‑commerce, platform communication, media, PR or integrated marketing within beauty or FMCG.
- Proven track record managing Tmall/TAO marketplace operations and paid media to achieve topline and profit targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and managing agency/TP partnerships.
- Excellent analytical capability with experience turning CRM and platform data into actionable insights.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Commercial mindset, strategic thinking and a demonstrable ‘can‑do’ drive; candidate must not have an agency‑dominant background.

At least five years of progressive responsibility in e‑commerce or platform account management, with hands‑on experience running Tmall/TAO marketplace strategies, paid media optimisation and cross‑functional execution; prior experience within beauty or related consumer goods preferred.
