Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end new product launches, ensuring adherence to cost, quality and timing targets by coordinating Packaging Development, Purchasing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain & Production, Marketing Development, internal and external R&D, and Finance.
- Own programme governance and executive reporting (Review & Go / Comex), escalate risks, recommend trade‑offs and secure aligned decisions with Executive and Marketing stakeholders.
- Define and manage development schedules and financial milestones for launches; monitor COGS targets and gross margin performance for projects.
- Coordinate feasibility studies with internal Operations experts and external subcontractors; identify risks and implement mitigation plans to protect launch timelines and quality.
- Standardise and continuously improve the Maison’s product development process and performance management tools; track and report KPIs (OT jalons, OTIF, launch margins).
- Line‑manage a team of three senior project managers: allocate workload, recruit, coach, develop talent and cascade the brand's innovation strategy across Operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in product development within cosmetics or FMCG, with strong industrial/production understanding.
- Proven experience in cross‑functional and hierarchical management, with exposure to Executive Committee (Comex) and Codir reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex information, influence senior stakeholders, and drive strategic decisions.
- Fluent English (professional working proficiency).
Skills
Experience
10+ years in product development and industrial operations within cosmetics or related FMCG sectors; substantial experience leading cross‑functional programmes, managing senior project managers, and presenting to Executive and Leadership teams.
Education
Master's degree or equivalent in chemistry, engineering, cosmetic science, business or a related discipline preferred.
