Make Up For Ever in Gennevilliers seeks a Deputy Accounting Manager (6-month contract) to lead monthly closes, tax filings and an accounting team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver monthly statutory and management closing processes within timelines aligned with the LVMH group requirements.
- Supervise and control accounting operations across payables, receivables and treasury in coordination with specialist sub-teams.
- Ensure the proper functioning, security and continuous improvement of the accounting ERP in partnership with IT; plan and coordinate system enhancements.
- Prepare, supervise or perform statutory and tax filings and ensure compliance with legal deadlines.
- Oversee accounts receivable exposure, credit insurance policy and debt recovery actions in liaison with the AR team.
- Conduct and control recurring accounting tasks and ad hoc reconciliations.
- Propose and implement process and tooling improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in cross-functional projects with finance and group stakeholders.
- Line-manage and develop a team of three accountants.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school or equivalent university qualification; DSCG highly desirable.
- Minimum five years’ proven experience in accounting or financial control, with prior experience in a similar supervisory role.
- Experience in audit or accounting firm is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software; hands-on experience with AX and Esker preferred.
- Good written and spoken English.
- High level of accuracy, organisational rigor and ability to communicate clearly with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Minimum of 5 years in accounting/financial control roles, ideally including experience in a similar deputy or supervisory position; prior exposure to audit or accounting firms is preferable.
Education
Master’s degree (business, engineering or equivalent). DSCG qualification is desirable.
