Make Up For Ever Communication Specialist in Seoul – PR, media, and influencer marketing role in the K-beauty space.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize comprehensive media strategies across paid, earned, and owned channels in partnership with external media agencies, overseeing campaign planning, media buying, budget allocation, and performance tracking to maximize ROI and brand visibility in the Korean market
- Drive local PR strategy to secure high-impact editorial coverage in top-tier beauty, lifestyle, and digital media through the cultivation of relationships with key beauty journalists, editors, and industry influencers
- Lead press events, product launches, and media sampling initiatives to enhance brand image and generate compelling earned media coverage
- Design and execute end-to-end influencer marketing strategies tailored to the K-beauty landscape, identifying and managing partnerships with micro-to-macro influencers, beauty creators, and brand ambassadors across Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms
- Oversee and manage annual and campaign-specific PR and media budgets, monitoring monthly expenditures, reconciling invoices, and ensuring efficient cost allocation across all communication channels
Qualifications
- University degree
- Minimum 5–6 years of professional experience in communication, PR, or marketing within the cosmetics or FMCG industry
- Full professional fluency in Korean with ability to communicate effectively in English for internal reporting and global coordination
- Strong analytical capability to assess campaign performance data, media metrics, and ROI to optimize communication and influencer strategies
- Deep knowledge of and passion for the beauty and makeup industry with acute awareness of K-beauty trends and consumer behaviors
