Make Up For Ever seeks Accounts Payable Accountant in Levallois-Perret, France for 12-month fixed-term contract. Finance expertise required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Record and process supplier invoices (overhead expenses and inventory purchases) from receipt through payment, handling multi-currency transactions
- Manage invoice disputes and coordinate resolutions with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor and process advance payments and related follow-up
- Execute month-end and year-end closing tasks, including accruals, provisions, and currency conversion reconciliation
- Process and reconcile employee expense reports and reimbursements
- Conduct account balance reviews, reconcile supplier accounts, monitor aged payables, analyze exceptions, and track key performance indicators
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, mail management, and documentation organization
Qualifications
- BTS Comptabilité et Gestion (or equivalent diploma) in accounting
- Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in accounts payable
- Strong knowledge of French accounting principles and standards
- Proficiency with stored inventory accounting practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems such as AX and ESKER (preferred)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience, with preference for direct accounts payable or supplier accounting background.
Education
BTS Comptabilité et Gestion or equivalent tertiary accounting qualification.
