Maison Margiela seeks a Stock Keeper in Metzingen, Germany to manage store inventory, deliveries, stock transfers and warehouse organisation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and process deliveries in strict accordance with group procedures.
- Inspect delivered goods for quality, completeness and conformity to order specifications.
- Prepare and execute stock transfers and returns, ensuring all documentation and systems are accurately updated.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular rotating counts, investigate discrepancies and process corrective actions.
- Organise warehouse storage for efficient replenishment and ensure the stockroom is clean, secure and optimised for operations.
- Monitor in‑store stock rotation and proactively anticipate replenishment needs to reduce out‑of‑stocks.
- Contribute to the improvement of store performance indicators and propose action plans to mitigate unknown markdowns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail stock management, preferably within the premium or luxury sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across store teams.
- Commercially minded and results oriented, with a focus on inventory accuracy and loss prevention.
- Sound knowledge of retail inventory standards and stock control procedures.

Experience
Previous successful experience managing store inventory and stockroom operations, ideally within a premium or luxury retail environment. Demonstrated track record of maintaining inventory accuracy and executing stock transfers/returns.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, retail operations or a related discipline is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be located in Metzingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, with easy access to Stuttgart.
