Maison Margiela seeks a reliable, organised Stock Controller in Metzingen to support store operations, maintain stock accuracy and ensure efficient merchandise flows and timely replenishment. The role covers deliveries, product checks, transfers, returns, stockroom organisation, inventory checks, stocktakes and loss prevention.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming deliveries in accordance with Group procedures.
- Check the quality, quantity and conformity of received products, and report discrepancies.
- Prepare and process merchandise transfers and end-of-season collection returns in line with established procedures.
- Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately and completed on time.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised stockroom to facilitate product access and replenishment.
- Carry out regular stock checks, monitor stock rotation and investigate discrepancies.
- Anticipate replenishment needs by monitoring product movements on the shop floor.
- Communicate with the sales team to ensure product availability and support sales.
- Manage merchandise flows, including transfers, product reservations and other internal stock movements.
- Prepare for commercial activities by ensuring the appropriate products are selected and available.
- Conduct regular stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Help reduce stock losses by identifying issues and contributing to corrective action plans.

- Previous experience in stockroom operations, logistics or inventory management, ideally within fashion or luxury retail.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a rigorous approach to stock accuracy.
