Role & Responsibilities

  • Define the seasonal collection architecture from brief to showroom, ensuring alignment with the artistic direction and Maison priorities.
  • Build a balanced, differentiated offering (permanent and seasonal) that secures desirability, coherence and market impact.
  • Drive product development through precise, inspiring briefs and close collaboration with Creation, Development and Production teams.
  • Manage the product lifecycle with continuous optimization of range, assortments and core offer.
  • Set pricing strategy and protect collection profitability by monitoring margins and supporting cost arbitration.
  • Lead collection performance analysis (sell‑in, sell‑out, sell‑through, margins, best‑sellers) and translate market feedback into strategic recommendations.
  • Define buying strategy in partnership with Central Merchandising and regional teams, and support worldwide sales calendar and buying sessions.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (Creation, Development, Production, Finance, Retail, Wholesale) and represent merchandising at showrooms, presentations and buying sessions.
  • Ensure accurate product storytelling and high‑quality collection tools; support go‑to‑market execution through to point of sale.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years' experience in collection merchandising, ideally within leather goods or luxury accessories.
  • Deep product sensitivity and strong culture in fashion/luxury with specific knowledge of the leather goods sector.
  • Strategic vision paired with rigorous analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to operate in demanding, fast‑evolving environments.
  • Demonstrated cross‑functional leadership, influencing skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
