Maison Margiela is hiring a Client Advisor in Vancouver (Oakridge) — hourly pay CAD $19–$21; client-facing luxury retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a bespoke, client-centric shopping experience: greet, advise, and style clients with professionalism and discretion.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, upselling and cross-selling while consistently meeting individual and store targets.
- Develop and maintain a personal client book; conduct follow-ups, manage invitations to events, and organise private appointments and styling sessions.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge across collections and offer tailored styling recommendations reflecting the maison’s aesthetic.
- Operate POS systems accurately; process transactions and handle cash/card operations in line with store procedures.
- Manage inventory and stock replenishment, ensuring product care and accurate record-keeping.
- Support visual merchandising and ensure store presentation aligns precisely with brand guidelines.
- Represent and protect the brand image at all times; stay informed on brand history, product launches and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury retail, high-end fashion, jewelry, watches or related luxury lifestyle brands.
- Proven sales track record with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and storytelling skills with strong client-facing presence.
- Cultural sensitivity and comfort interacting with an international clientele.
- Collaborative team player who contributes to a high-performance retail environment.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada and ability to provide documentation upon request.
Skills
Experience
Experience working in luxury retail or high-end boutiques is required; demonstrated success in client development and sales performance is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary studies in fashion, retail, or a related discipline are an advantage.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19 to CAD 21 per hour.
