Maison Margiela seeks a Client Advisor in Vancouver (Oakridge Shopping Centre) to deliver luxury service and drive sales. Hourly pay CAD $19–$21.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an impeccable, personalised luxury shopping experience by greeting and advising clients with professionalism and warmth.
- Provide authoritative product knowledge and bespoke styling recommendations tailored to individual client needs.
- Drive sales performance through proactive clienteling, upselling, cross-selling and targeted follow-ups.
- Develop and maintain a client book, cultivate long-term relationships and manage invitations, private appointments and events.
- Represent and embody the brand’s values and visual identity; remain abreast of collections, brand heritage and market trends.
- Ensure store presentation and merchandising adhere to Maison Margiela standards and participate in visual merchandising initiatives.
- Execute transactional duties efficiently using the POS system and support back-office tasks.
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment and product care procedures to preserve merchandising integrity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail or related high-end sectors (fashion, jewellery, watches, leather goods).
- Exceptional interpersonal and storytelling skills with a client-centric service orientation.
- Demonstrable sales-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Cultural awareness and ease interacting with an international clientele.
- Collaborative team player able to contribute to a dynamic store environment.
- Multilingual capability is advantageous but not required.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in luxury retail or equivalent high-end customer-facing roles is required, with demonstrable clienteling and sales performance in a boutique or department store environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in retail, fashion or sales is preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19 to CAD 21 per hour.
