Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide an elevated, personalised client experience reflecting Maison Margiela’s aesthetic and service standards; act as the primary brand ambassador on the sales floor.
  • Identify client needs, present and demonstrate product features across categories, and drive conversions to meet individual and store sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to grow loyalty, encourage repeat purchase and expand client networks.
  • Maintain expert product knowledge of current collections, brand history and category assortments to advise clients effectively.
  • Support visual merchandising and store presentation to ensure the retail environment aligns with the brand image.
  • Assist with stock management and inventory tasks, ensuring accurate presentation and availability of merchandise.
  • Adhere to company policies, grooming standards and operational procedures to preserve a professional luxury environment.
  • Collaborate proactively with the store team and report to the Store Manager to contribute to overall store performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with international and high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Previous experience as a Client Advisor in luxury or premium ready‑to‑wear retail (preferred).
  • Fluent in English and German (mandatory) with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Commercially driven with a demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skilled in cross‑selling across product categories and attentive to upsell opportunities.
