Estée Lauder Companies' EMEA retail design team seeks a final-year design student for a six-month internship beginning January 2027, supporting the development and execution of store design concepts and visual merchandising assets across MAC, Aveda, Smashbox, and Bumble and bumble. The intern will collaborate with regional affiliates across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and India to deliver compelling consumer experiences aligned with brand guidelines, working across collateral creation, planogram development, and in-store storytelling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop store design concepts and visual merchandising layouts for multiple beauty brands across the EMEA region
- Support the creation of VM and SD assets, collateral, and planogram guidelines in line with brand DNA
- Collaborate with European, Middle Eastern, African, Russian, and Indian affiliates on in-store initiatives tied to product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Produce digital and physical materials using Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and AutoCAD
- Adapt designs to both store design and visual merchandising project requirements
- Ensure brand consistency and luxury positioning across all retail touchpoints
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and French, written and spoken
- Final-year student from an accredited design school (Graphic Design, Art, or Interior Design)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office—particularly PowerPoint
- Prior experience in retail graphic design
- Strong sensitivity to luxury and cosmetics aesthetics
- Internship agreement required
Skills
Experience
Final-year student with previous experience in retail graphic design. Experience or strong interest in the beauty industry is highly appreciated.
Education
Degree or current enrollment in Graphic Design, Art, or Interior Design from an accredited institution (e.g., ENSAD, École Boulle, ENSAAMA, Penninghen, LISAA) or equivalent qualification.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
