Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Develop and execute strategic business plans incorporating customer targeting, in-store events, and promotional activities
- Manage all operational aspects including inventory, cash reconciliation, facilities maintenance, and compliance
- Schedule staffing and allocate resources to optimize sales performance and customer experience
- Conduct sales analysis, set performance metrics, and track team achievement against targets
- Create and execute engaging in-store events and promotional campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized service and loyalty initiatives
- Recruit, interview, and onboard Sales Associates; provide ongoing coaching and performance management
- Manage retail point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office applications for administrative and reporting functions
- Represent the brand and maintain highest standards of professional conduct during all retail hours
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Experience with business planning including sales target setting, customer service metrics, and staff scheduling
- Track record of retail operations management including inventory control, facilities oversight, and cash handling
- Proven leadership experience with measurable track record of leading teams to achieve sales and service targets
- Experience designing and executing in-store events and promotional campaigns
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software and Microsoft Office suite
- Availability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Right to live and work in New Zealand with ability to provide proof upon request
Skills
Experience
Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Previous experience in cosmetics or prestige beauty preferred. Demonstrated success leading retail teams to achieve sales and customer service objectives.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; retail management certification or related qualification is advantageous but not required.
