MAC seeks a Retail Manager in Melbourne to lead store operations, manage teams and drive sales in prestige beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets
- Create and execute an agile business plan including strategic customer targeting and retention strategies
- Manage inventory and facilities, including cash reconciliation and stock controls
- Conduct sales analysis, set performance targets and manage staff scheduling
- Create and execute impactful in-store events and promotional activities
- Build and maintain exceptional customer relationships through personalized service delivery
- Oversee retail operations including point-of-sale management and administrative functions
- Monitor business performance against KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Experience with business planning including sales targeting, customer service objectives, sales analysis and staff scheduling
- Retail operations expertise including inventory management, facilities management and cash reconciliation
- Proven track record of leading teams to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Experience creating and executing in-store events
- Familiarity with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide proof of right to live and work in Australia

Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably within the cosmetics or prestige beauty sector. Demonstrated success in team leadership, business planning, inventory control and customer service delivery.
