MAC Retail Manager position in Tasmania, Australia. Lead a high-performing sales team in prestige beauty retail with business planning and team development responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Develop and execute an agile business plan with strategic targeting and in-store event execution
- Create and implement business plans including sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
- Manage retail operations including inventory control, facilities management, and cash reconciliation
- Cultivate and maintain exceptional customer relationships through personalized, authentic service delivery
- Plan and execute high-impact in-store events and promotional activities
- Analyze sales performance data and implement corrective strategies to meet revenue objectives
- Maintain compliance with retail point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and analysis
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Experience with business planning including target setting, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
- Proven track record of leading teams to achieve sales and customer service objectives
- Retail operations experience including inventory management, facilities oversight, and cash reconciliation
- Previous experience creating and executing in-store events and promotional campaigns
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Right to live and work in Australia (proof required upon interview invitation)

Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience in a fast-paced cosmetics or beauty retail environment, with a track record of successful team leadership, sales target achievement, and business planning execution. Education
