MAC is seeking an ambitious Retail Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team, drive strategic business planning, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. This role offers full accountability for store operations, including recruitment and retention initiatives, event management, and customer relationship management, with clear pathways for career progression within the prestige beauty sector.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop sales associates to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets
- Create and execute agile business plans with strategic targeting to recruit and retain customers
- Manage in-store events and implement customer relationship management strategies
- Oversee store operations including inventory management, facilities management and cash reconciliation
- Set sales and customer service targets, conduct sales analysis and manage staff scheduling
- Drive front-line marketing initiatives and consumer insights
- Manage retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably in cosmetics
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Previous business planning experience including target setting, sales analysis and staff scheduling
- Retail operations experience with inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation
- Proven track record of leading teams to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Experience creating and executing in-store events
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Right to live and work in Australia

Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably within the cosmetics industry, with a demonstrated track record of leading teams to achieve sales and customer service targets in fast-paced retail environments.
