M·A·C seeks a results-driven Retail Manager to lead, coach, and develop a team while delivering personalized makeup consultations, exceptional customer experiences, and commercial results. The role is permanent part-time and includes mandatory paid training, with travel potentially required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the team through on-floor leadership, real-time feedback, and tailored coaching conversations.
  • Inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve strong commercial results, fostering accountability, artistry, and continuous growth.
  • Coach the team to provide exceptional, personalized customer service and tailored makeup solutions through strong consultation skills.
  • Drive KPI and sales-target achievement through coaching conversations, business maths, and on-floor observation; lead retail events and theme days.
  • Model polished professional grooming in the required M·A·C black standard and provide feedback to the team to uphold those standards.
  • Confidently wear and demonstrate diverse makeup looks, and ensure the team does likewise.
  • Ensure the manager and team attend mandatory paid training sessions, both virtual and in person; travel may be required.
  • Represent the M·A·C brand with confidence, deliver exceptional service, and maintain a polished professional image.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lead a team by example in customer service, grooming, and KPI attainment.
  • Strong makeup skills, self-taught or accredited; a portfolio or examples of makeup work are required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Open to feedback and committed to professional growth.
  • Flexible availability, including late nights and weekends.
  • Ability to travel to other locations when required.
  • Impeccable grooming.
  • Ability to provide “see it, say it” feedback.
