MAC seeks a dynamic retail manager to lead and develop a team of sales associates in driving sales, customer service, and operational excellence. This is a first-line management role offering full accountability for store performance, business planning, customer relationship management, in-store events, and team leadership. The role is an excellent entry point into prestige beauty management and provides exposure to business planning, consumer insights, and frontline marketing that supports progression to senior field and management positions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Create and execute an agile business plan with strategic customer targeting and retention initiatives
- Manage business planning including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
- Oversee retail operations including inventory management, facilities management, and cash reconciliation
- Plan and execute in-store events and promotional activities
- Build and maintain exceptional customer relationships through personalized service and engagement
- Manage retail point-of-sale systems and staff scheduling
- Lead a high-performing team to meet or exceed sales and customer service metrics
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous business planning experience including setting targets and sales analysis
- Experience in retail operations including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation
- Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Experience creating and executing in-store events
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to interview
