Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, inspirational makeup artistry services and consultations that educate and delight customers
- Execute makeup applications and product demonstrations using creative and technical expertise
- Collaborate with in-store team to conceptualize and deliver high-impact in-store events
- Maintain elevated visual merchandising standards to differentiate the store from competitors
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and process customer transactions
- Work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience welcome if accompanied by demonstrated creative and technical expertise
- Ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Capability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Right to live and work in South Africa
Skills
Experience
Makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; however, candidates with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are also welcomed.
Education
Makeup artistry qualification is desirable but not required. Candidates with demonstrable creative and technical expertise at amateur level are encouraged to apply.
