Role & Responsibilities

• Cover shifts when colleagues are on vacation, ill, in training or during key shopping periods.
• Provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalised in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
• Guide customers through MAC’s offering and recommend products according to their needs.
• Meet individual sales targets.
• Deliver an exceptional, authentic customer experience by identifying suitable products for customers’ needs.
• Maintain ownership of the counter: keep it tidy, replenish stock and ensure visual merchandising meets brand guidelines.
• Build collaborative relationships with colleagues and the direct manager.
• Perform services, participate in in-store events and support colleagues.
• Operate the cash register and help ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty in support of business financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience; applicants with amateur-level experience are also welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
• Previous retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
• Makeup or other beauty certificates are an advantage.
• Proficiency in a Scandinavian language and English, in both spoken and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Availability to work retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends and special events.
• Ability to accept shifts at short notice.
