MAC seeks a skilled Makeup Artist to deliver personalized in-store beauty experiences that educate and inspire customers. The role combines creative and technical expertise with genuine passion for client engagement, encompassing makeup application, product education, and participation in in-store events. The successful candidate will maintain elevated visual merchandising standards and work collaboratively with a dynamic team to drive retail performance in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Apply makeup artistry techniques to create personalized looks for customers while providing expert product education and recommendations
- Deliver inspirational and authentic customer service experiences that build brand loyalty and drive sales conversion
- Participate in the execution and staffing of in-store promotional events, product launches, and beauty experiences
- Maintain store visual merchandising standards to ensure competitive presentation of products and brand values
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently to process transactions
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store targets and deliver exceptional service during busy periods
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in makeup application techniques with strong creative and technical capabilities
- Ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a retail environment
- Flexibility to work retail hours including daytime, evening, weekend, and special event shifts
- Familiarity with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Right to live and work in Taiwan
- Formal makeup artistry qualification or previous retail beauty experience preferred; amateur-level experience with exceptional aptitude accepted
