As a Makeup Artist at MAC, you will combine creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to deliver a welcoming, personalized in-store experience that educates and inspires customers. Working within a high-performing retail team, the role encompasses hands-on makeup application and consultation, coordination of in-store events, and maintenance of visual merchandising standards. Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail beauty experience is preferred but not required; the brand welcomes candidates with amateur-level expertise who demonstrate strong creative capabilities and are committed to professional development within prestige beauty retail.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, inspirational makeup consultations and application services to customers in a welcoming retail environment
• Educate customers on makeup techniques, product benefits, and color theory to drive engagement and sales
• Participate in coordinating and executing in-store events and promotional activities to create brand impact
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to differentiate the brand against competitors
• Operate point-of-sale systems and manage customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Work collaboratively within the team to achieve store targets and maintain a positive, high-performing culture

Qualifications

• Makeup artistry certification or previous retail beauty experience (preferred but not required)
• Demonstrated creative and technical expertise in makeup application and color theory
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Proof of right to live and work in Argentina

Skills

Experience

While certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is desirable, the role welcomes applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Education

Makeup artistry certification or equivalent professional training is preferred but not required.
