Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, memorable makeup consultations and in-store beauty experiences that inspire clients and reflect the MAC brand ethos
- Apply professional makeup artistry to enhance client features and demonstrate product capabilities
- Educate clients on makeup techniques, trends, and product benefits while recommending suitable items
- Drive sales performance by identifying opportunities, confidently recommending products, and achieving individual and team sales targets
- Maintain extensive product knowledge and stay current with the latest makeup trends and social media innovations
- Represent the luxury beauty brand with authenticity, professionalism, and creative flair
- Support store operations and contribute actively to team performance during all store hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics sector
- 2–3 years of professional makeup artistry experience with demonstrated technical skill
- Certification or degree as a makeup artist and/or esthetician (preferred)
- Expertise in delivering luxury, personalized service experiences
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining service excellence
- Strong social media awareness and knowledge of current beauty trends
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special store events
Skills
Experience
Candidates should possess 1–2 years of sales experience in the beauty industry and a minimum of 2–3 years of professional makeup artistry practice. Experience delivering luxury-level customer service and expertise in color theory, product application techniques, and client consultation is essential.
Education
A degree or professional certification as a makeup artist and/or esthetician is preferred.
