The Makeup Artist combines creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to deliver personalized in-store experiences, support events and uphold visual merchandising standards at M·A·C Melbourne Central. The role is part-time and offers training, development and a benefits package.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Use creative and technical makeup expertise to serve customers.
- Work with the team to create impact through in-store events.
- Ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards and stands out from competitors.
Qualifications
- A qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are also welcome if they can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in Australia if invited to interview.
