The Makeup Artist combines creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized customer experiences, support in-store events and uphold visual merchandising standards. Makeup artistry certification or prior retail makeup experience is preferred, though demonstrated amateur-level expertise is welcomed; the role is full-time and temporary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Use creative and technical expertise to provide makeup artistry services.
- Contribute to a high-performing team and create impact through in-store events.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards that help the store stand out from competitors.
Qualifications
- A makeup artistry qualification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are also welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proof of the right to live and work in the country must be provided if invited to interview.

Previous retail makeup experience is preferred; amateur-level experience is also accepted when accompanied by demonstrated creative and technical expertise.
