The MAC Makeup Artist combines creative and technical makeup expertise with a passion for people to deliver personalized customer experiences, support in-store events and uphold visual merchandising standards. Makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred, though amateur-level experience is welcome for candidates demonstrating strong expertise. This is a part-time role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Use creative and technical makeup expertise to serve customers.
- Contribute to in-store events as part of a high-performing team.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards that help the store stand out from competitors.
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
