Role & Responsibilities
- Apply makeup artistry with precision and creativity to enhance customers' appearance and build confidence
- Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a high-paced retail environment
- Educate customers on MAC products, application techniques, and color theory through engaging demonstrations
- Participate actively in coordinating and executing in-store promotional events and beauty workshops
- Maintain store visual merchandising standards to ensure MAC's distinctive aesthetic and competitive market positioning
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
- Support team objectives and maintain consistency with brand standards across all customer interactions
- Work flexibly across retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry certification or previous professional retail makeup experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated high level of creative and technical makeup expertise, including amateur-level foundation
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational and personalized customer service
- Capability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Legal right to live and work in Colombia
- Proof of work authorization (required upon interview invitation)
Skills
Experience
Makeup artistry certification or professional retail makeup experience is preferred; candidates with amateur-level makeup expertise and strong creative technical skills are also welcome. Prior experience with retail operations and point-of-sale systems is beneficial.
Education
Makeup artistry certification or professional training is desirable but not required. High school diploma or equivalent is standard.
