The Makeup Artist at MAC combines creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to provide personalized customer service, recommend products, and maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards. The role also supports promotions, marketing campaigns and in-store events, with part-time and full-time schedules available.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide customers with personalized advice on MAC products.
• Assess customer needs accurately and recommend suitable products.
• Maintain an orderly store and aesthetically arranged products.
• Participate actively in promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Continuously improve customer satisfaction.
• Deliver a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
• Use creative and technical expertise to serve customers.
• Work as part of a high-performing team to create impact through in-store events.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards to distinguish the store from competitors.

Qualifications

• Makeup artistry qualification or experience; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
• Able to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
• Available to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
• Able to provide proof of the right to live and work in Hungary if invited to interview.
• Customer-oriented, positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Interest in cosmetics, skincare, and makeup products.
• Confident manner, flexibility, reliability, and team spirit.
• Intermediate English is an advantage.
• Retail experience is an advantage.
