MAC Cosmetics Artist position in Bondi Junction, Sydney. 30 hours part-time retail makeup artist role combining artistry and customer service excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expertly executed makeup application and personalized consultation to customers in-store
- Educate customers on MAC products, techniques, and trends to enhance their purchasing experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service with an emphasis on authenticity, creativity, and personalization
- Participate in in-store events and promotional activities to drive customer engagement and sales
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to ensure competitive differentiation
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently during retail transactions
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and uphold store performance standards
- Work flexibly across retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated high-level creative and technical makeup expertise
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Proof of right to live and work in the country
Skills
Experience
Amateur-level makeup experience is acceptable; professional makeup artistry training or prior retail cosmetics counter experience is preferred but not required.
Education
Makeup artistry certification or formal training preferred; equivalent practical experience in retail beauty environments accepted.

The successful candidate will be located in Bondi Junction, New South Wales, Australia, with easy access to Sydney.
