MAC seeks a part-time Makeup Artist and Beauty Advisor at Galeries de la Capitale in Québec City to deliver personalized customer experiences, support in-store events, and uphold visual merchandising standards. The anticipated base salary range is CAD 16.85–27.15, depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget, based on a 40-hour work week and scaled accordingly; eligible employees may participate in a commission/bonus plan.
Role & Responsibilities
- Combine creative and technical makeup expertise with a passion for people to deliver a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Contribute to a high-performing team and create impact through in-store events.
- Ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards and stands out from competitors.
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry qualifications or previous retail makeup experience are preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in Canada if invited to interview.
