The Makeup Artist and Beauty Advisor combines creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to deliver personalized customer experiences, support in-store events and uphold visual merchandising standards. Makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred, while applicants with amateur-level experience are also welcome. The role is on-call/freelance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Collaborate with the team on in-store events and help maintain high visual merchandising standards.
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry qualification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proof of the right to live and work in Australia must be provided if invited to interview.
