MAC Cosmetics Make-Up Artist role in Wijnegem, Belgium – blending artistry with sales. Part-time (30.4h) opportunity with Estée Lauder Companies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized makeup consultations and applications using advanced techniques and product knowledge
- Create memorable, inspiring in-store experiences that drive client satisfaction and repeat business
- Educate clients on product benefits, ingredients, and application methods tailored to individual needs
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through confident product recommendations
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards while capitalizing on commercial opportunities
- Stay current with makeup trends, social media developments, and brand storytelling
- Support team performance through collaboration, flexibility with store hours (evenings, weekends, special events), and active participation in store operations
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional sales experience, preferably in beauty or cosmetics retail
- 2–3 years of professional makeup artistry experience
- Certification or degree in esthetics and/or makeup artistry (preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in luxury service delivery with emphasis on personalization and authenticity
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets while maintaining service excellence
- Strong knowledge of current makeup trends and social media platforms
- Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and verbal)
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of professional sales experience in the beauty industry, combined with 2–3 years of professional makeup artistry experience. Candidates should demonstrate proven ability to balance artistic creativity with commercial targets, deliver luxury-level service, and maintain currency with evolving beauty trends.
Education
Certification or degree in esthetics and/or makeup artistry is preferred. Secondary or equivalent education is required.
