MAC Cosmetics Make-up Artist (32h part-time) at Douglas Den Haag Passage. Inspire clients, drive sales, and deliver luxury beauty experiences in The Hague.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, creative makeup artistry services to inspire and delight clients during in-store consultations and demonstrations
- Educate clients on product benefits, application techniques, and makeup trends to maximize their beauty experience
- Drive sales by confidently recommending products, identifying client needs, and capitalizing on commercial opportunities
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets while maintaining exceptional service standards and customer satisfaction
- Maintain expert-level product knowledge across the MAC portfolio and stay current with emerging makeup trends and social media content
- Contribute actively to team performance, supporting colleagues and fostering a collaborative, inclusive retail environment
- Operate during all store hours including evenings, weekends, and special promotional events as required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry
- 2–3 years of professional makeup artistry experience
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Degree or professional certification as an esthetician and/or makeup artist (preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets while delivering luxury-level service
- Expertise in luxury service delivery: creating inspiring, authentic, and personalized client experiences
- Strong social media awareness and knowledge of current makeup trends and beauty influencers
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of sales experience in beauty retail or cosmetics, combined with 2–3 years of professional makeup artistry experience. Demonstrated success in delivering personalized client experiences and meeting sales objectives in a luxury retail environment.
Education
Professional certification or degree as a makeup artist and/or esthetician is preferred but not required.
