MAC seeks a highly skilled makeup artist to deliver an inspirational, personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers through creative application and technical expertise. The role combines product education, customer consultation, and in-store event coordination, requiring the ability to perform retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events while maintaining high visual merchandising standards. While formal makeup artistry certification or prior retail beauty experience is preferred, exceptional candidates with amateur-level experience and demonstrated creative and technical proficiency are welcome to apply.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide consultative, personalized makeup application services and product education to customers
• Execute in-store makeup demonstrations and participate in promotional events to drive brand engagement and sales
• Maintain point-of-sale operations and process customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Uphold visual merchandising standards and store presentation to differentiate the brand against competitors
• Work collaboratively within the team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Demonstrate proficiency with retail beauty products and expand knowledge of the MAC product range

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in makeup artistry or prior retail makeup experience (preferred but not required)
• Demonstrated high level of creative and technical makeup expertise
• Ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service consistently
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
• Availability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Legal right to live and work in Brazil, with ability to provide proof upon request

Skills

Experience

While certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is desirable, candidates with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate high creative and technical expertise are encouraged to apply. Prior exposure to fast-paced retail environments is advantageous.

Education

Formal qualification in makeup artistry or equivalent professional training is preferred but not required.
