MAC, part of the Estée Lauder Companies, seeks two on-call Make-up Artists for Magasin K in Copenhagen. The successful candidates will deliver personalized in-store beauty consultations, perform makeup applications, and educate customers on product offerings while maintaining exceptional visual merchandising standards. This flexible, on-call position covers vacation relief, training periods, and peak retail moments, with shifts arranged according to operational needs.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized makeup consultations and applications tailored to individual customer needs and preferences
• Reach individual sales targets while maintaining authentic customer engagement and brand integrity
• Maintain counter presentation and visual merchandising standards in alignment with MAC brand guidelines
• Restock inventory and ensure optimal counter organization at all times
• Participate in in-store events and promotional activities to drive customer engagement
• Process transactions accurately and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Collaborate effectively with store colleagues and management to support team performance
• Provide backup support to colleagues during peak periods and special events

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in makeup artistry or demonstrated professional-level makeup expertise
• Previous retail experience, preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty
• Proficiency in a Scandinavian language and English, both verbal and written
• Professional beauty or makeup certification (advantageous)
• Ability to work flexibly, including retail hours and short-notice shifts
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic retail environments

Skills

Experience

Previous retail experience in cosmetics or beauty is preferred; candidates with amateur-level makeup expertise who demonstrate high creative and technical competency are welcome to apply.

Education

Formal qualification in makeup artistry is preferred; beauty or makeup certification is advantageous.
