MAC Cosmetics seeks Make-Up Artist, Brussels (22.8h/week, part-time). Inspire clients with makeup expertise and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized makeup consultations and professional applications tailored to each client's preferences and facial features
- Demonstrate MAC products and educate clients on color selection, application techniques, and skincare integration
- Drive sales performance by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary products
- Maintain an engaging and welcoming retail environment that reflects the brand's avant-garde positioning
- Stay current with makeup trends, seasonal collections, and social media best practices to enhance client recommendations
- Support special events, product launches, and promotional activities as scheduled
- Build lasting client relationships through authentic, attentive service and follow-up engagement
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in beauty or luxury retail
- 2–3 years of professional makeup artistry experience
- Diploma or certification in aesthetics and/or makeup artistry (preferred)
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Comfortable with social media platforms and emerging beauty trends
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and special events
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of retail sales experience in beauty, combined with 2–3 years of professional makeup artistry. Experience in luxury or premium service environments is advantageous.
Education
Diploma or certification in aesthetics and/or makeup artistry is preferred but not mandatory.
