On-call make-up artist position at MAC (Estée Lauder Companies) in Bergen. Flexible shift work in prestige beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized make-up consultations and services to customers based on individual needs and preferences
- Reach individual sales targets and drive revenue performance
- Maintain counter cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards in accordance with brand guidelines
- Administer cashiering and process customer transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members and Counter Manager to foster a high-performing retail environment
- Participate in in-store events, promotions, and special activities
- Continuously restock products and ensure optimal counter presentation
- Build customer loyalty through exceptional service and authentic engagement
Qualifications
- Qualification in make-up artistry or previous retail make-up experience (amateur-level experience acceptable if demonstrating high creative and technical expertise)
- Prior retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Beauty or make-up certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in a Scandinavian language and English (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic retail environment
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Capacity to accept shifts with short notice
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram (preferred)
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience within cosmetics or beauty is preferred. Amateur-level make-up experience is acceptable provided the candidate demonstrates high creative and technical expertise in application and color theory.
Education
Formal qualification in make-up artistry or beauty certification is preferred but not essential. Secondary education or equivalent is expected.
