MAC Cosmetics is hiring a Make-Up Artist in Amsterdam to deliver exceptional beauty consultations and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Apply makeup artistry expertise to provide personalized, inspiring consultations that educate and delight clients
- Drive sales and achieve individual and team targets through confident product recommendations and upselling
- Deliver exceptional in-store experiences that reflect the luxury and authenticity of the MAC brand
- Maintain current knowledge of makeup trends, techniques, and social media developments relevant to the beauty industry
- Support team performance and contribute to a positive, creative, and inclusive retail environment
- Work flexibly during store hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events as required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in beauty or luxury retail
- 2–3 years of professional makeup artistry experience
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Certification or degree as an esthetician and/or makeup artist (preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets while maintaining service excellence

2–3 years of professional makeup artistry experience combined with 1–2 years of sales experience in the beauty sector or a comparable luxury retail environment.
Education
Certification or degree as an esthetician and/or makeup artist is preferred but not mandatory.
