A part-time makeup artist position at MAC, operating 22.5 hours across three days at the Boots Eldon Square location in Newcastle. The role combines creative and technical expertise with customer engagement to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store beauty experiences. The successful candidate will contribute to in-store events, visual merchandising excellence, and maintain high standards of customer service within a prestige beauty retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide creative makeup application services and personalized beauty consultations to customers
- Educate customers on product benefits and makeup techniques through inspirational, authentic engagement
- Contribute to in-store events and promotional activities as part of a high-performing team
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure store presentation aligns with brand excellence

Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience considered if applicants demonstrate high creative and technical expertise

- Capability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proof of right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Experience
While certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is desirable, candidates with amateur-level experience demonstrating strong creative and technical expertise are welcome to apply. Experience with retail environments and customer-facing roles is valued.
Education
