Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup application, skincare consultations, fragrance guidance, and hair advice to deliver personalized in-store experiences that educate and delight customers
- Execute high-level creative and technical cosmetic artistry while demonstrating product knowledge and brand positioning
- Collaborate with the in-store team to execute promotional events and in-store activations that drive sales and engagement
- Maintain exemplary visual merchandising standards throughout the point-of-sale area and display zones to ensure competitive differentiation
- Process transactions accurately using retail point-of-sale software while maintaining compliance with company protocols
Qualifications
- Demonstrated creative and technical expertise in makeup application, skincare, fragrance, or hair consultation
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service consistently
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Proof of right to live and work in the United States
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
Skills
Experience
Retail experience in cosmetics, beauty, or prestige goods is preferred; however, applicants with amateur-level creative and technical expertise who can demonstrate exceptional customer service acumen are equally welcome. Prior experience working in a customer-facing retail environment is advantageous.
Education
Certification in makeup artistry or beauty consultation is desirable but not required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
