A freelance makeup artist position with Estée Lauder Companies' M·A·C brand in Savannah, offering on-call/project-based work focused on makeup application, skincare consultation, and fragrance advisory. The role combines creative expertise and technical proficiency to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences while supporting visual merchandising and in-store events. Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized makeup application, skincare consultation, and fragrance or hair advisory services to customers
- Create inspirational, authentic customer experiences that educate and delight clients while showcasing M·A·C and prestige beauty brands
- Support the development and execution of in-store events and promotional activities
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and retail presentation to ensure competitive store differentiation
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately
- Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing store team to achieve sales and customer experience targets
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical expertise in makeup application, skincare, fragrance, or hair consultation
- Proven ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with retail point-of-sale software preferred
