MAC Beauty Advisor in London offering a 15-hour, 2-day temporary position for a creative and technically skilled make-up artist. The role combines artistic expertise with customer engagement to deliver personalized in-store consultations, educate clientele on prestige beauty products, and execute in-store events in a high-performing retail environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong creative and technical make-up application abilities, customer service excellence, and the flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, inspirational make-up consultations and product demonstrations to customers in-store
• Apply creative and technical expertise to educate clientele on prestige beauty products and techniques
• Collaborate with team members to execute in-store events and promotional activities
• Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to differentiate the brand against competitors
• Operate retail point-of-sale software and process customer transactions accurately
• Work flexibly across retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events

Qualifications

• Qualification in make-up artistry or previous retail make-up experience (preferred but not required)
• Demonstrated creative and technical expertise in make-up application at professional or amateur level
• Proven ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Flexibility to work all retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Skills

Experience

While certification in make-up artistry or previous retail make-up experience is desirable, candidates with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise and a passion for customer engagement are encouraged to apply.

Education

Certification in make-up artistry or equivalent training is preferred but not essential.
