MAC, part of The Estée Lauder Companies, seeks a Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient retail operations. The successful candidate will leverage outstanding coaching and mentoring abilities to lead by example, demonstrating the behaviors required of the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service whilst achieving sales and customer service targets. The role encompasses cash handling responsibilities, including daily cash reconciliation, and store opening and closing duties on a rotational basis. This position represents an ideal entry point into supervisory retail management for an ambitious, self-motivated professional with proven retail experience in cosmetics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily retail operations and staff coordination
- Coach and mentor sales team members to model and deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Conduct opening and closing procedures on a rotational basis, including cash reconciliation and point-of-sale system management
- Ensure achievement of sales and customer service targets through team leadership and performance management
- Manage cash handling and reconciliation processes to maintain store financial accuracy
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and store appearance to reflect brand standards
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing is desirable
- Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Right to live and work in the United States
