MAC Key Holder – part-time retail operations lead in Manhattan Beach, CA. $20–$22/hr with benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient store operations
- Coach and mentor sales team members to model exemplary customer service behaviors and achieve sales and customer service targets
- Conduct start and end of day cash reconciliation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Open and close the store on a rotational basis according to schedule
- Demonstrate inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service to meet all performance targets
- Lead by example in upholding the brand standards and values of MAC
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly during retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Legal right to work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty is required. While not essential, prior retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures is desirable. Prior supervisory or lead experience involving coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal qualifications in retail management or cosmetics are not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 20 to USD 22 per hour.
