M·A·C, part of The Estée Lauder Companies, seeks a dynamic Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient store operations at Los Cerritos Centre. This part-time supervisory role leverages outstanding coaching and mentoring capabilities to lead by example, modeling the behaviors required of the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while achieving sales and service targets. The position encompasses essential cash handling responsibilities, including start and end of day reconciliation, and involves rotating store opening and closing duties. Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in directing daily store operations and team performance
- Coach and mentor sales team members to model exemplary customer service behaviors and drive sales achievement
- Conduct accurate cash reconciliation at store opening and closing, managing point-of-sale operations
- Rotate responsibility for opening and closing the store according to assigned schedule
- Ensure consistent delivery of inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service aligned with brand standards
- Monitor and drive achievement of sales and customer service targets across the team
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Proof of right to work in the United States (required if invited to interview)
- Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing (desirable)
- Prior supervisory or assistant management experience with proven coaching and mentoring capability (desirable)
