MAC Cosmetics Key Holder position in Arlington, VA—supervisory retail role managing store operations and sales team leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor sales team members to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overall store operations and efficiency
- Perform opening and closing procedures including cash reconciliation on a rotational basis
- Model exemplary retail behaviors and sales techniques to inspire team performance
- Maintain retail point-of-sale systems and cash handling protocols
- Monitor and support achievement of sales and customer service targets
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures
- Experience in a supervisory or team-leadership capacity with coaching and mentoring responsibilities
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proof of legal right to work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience, ideally in cosmetics or prestige beauty categories. Prior supervisory experience with coaching and mentoring responsibilities is desirable. Demonstrated success in fast-paced retail environments with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and special events.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent education preferred; specific certifications in retail management or beauty category expertise are advantageous but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.98 to USD 31.63 per hour.
