MAC seeks a highly skilled freelance sales associate to deliver personalized in-store beauty consultations encompassing makeup application, skincare advice, hair styling, and fragrance recommendations. This role combines creative expertise with customer-centric service to educate and delight clients whilst maintaining exceptional visual merchandising standards and contributing to impactful in-store events as part of a dynamic team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expertly curated makeup application, skincare consultation, hair styling, and fragrance recommendations tailored to individual client preferences and needs
- Create inspirational and personalized in-store customer experiences that educate clients and drive brand loyalty
- Execute in-store visual merchandising initiatives and coordinate promotional events to maintain competitive positioning
- Collaborate with store team members to achieve sales targets and uphold premium retail standards
- Utilize point-of-sale software to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service delivery
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Capacity to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Right to live and work authorization in Canada
- Creative and technical expertise in beauty consultation with willingness to develop specialist knowledge
Skills
Experience
Retail makeup or beauty sales experience is preferred, though applicants with amateur-level expertise and strong creative ability are welcomed and supported through comprehensive training programs.
Education
