Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup application, skincare consultations, and fragrance or hair advice to customers
- Deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a welcoming in-store environment
- Participate in in-store events and promotional activities to drive sales impact
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store appearance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store objectives are met
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
- Educate customers on product benefits and usage techniques
Qualifications
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Creative and technical expertise in makeup, skincare, fragrance, or hair consultation (or demonstrated aptitude to develop these skills)
- Proof of right to live and work in Canada
Skills
Experience
Retail experience is preferred; however, candidates with beginner-level expertise and strong creative and technical aptitude are encouraged to apply. Previous retail experience in beauty, cosmetics, or customer-facing roles is advantageous.
Education
While certification in makeup artistry is desirable, it is not required. Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate foundational knowledge through portfolios or evidence of practical experience.
