Role & Responsibilities
- Provide makeup application services and skincare consultations to customers with professionalism and creativity
- Deliver personalized haircare and fragrance recommendations aligned with customer needs and preferences
- Execute in-store events and promotional activities to drive engagement and sales
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure store appearance meets brand standards
- Operate retail point-of-sale software and process transactions accurately
- Work collaboratively with sales team to achieve store performance targets
- Demonstrate MAC brand expertise and educate customers on product benefits and application techniques
Qualifications
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Certification in makeup artistry or professional makeup application experience (preferred but not required)
- Expertise or willingness to develop skills in fragrance, skincare and hair consultation
- Retail experience preferred; beginner-level expertise with demonstrated creative and technical ability welcomed
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and special events
- Right to live and work in the United States

Experience
While prior retail makeup experience is preferred, the company welcomes applicants with beginner-level expertise who can demonstrate strong creative and technical capabilities. Experience with retail point-of-sale systems is valuable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Makeup artistry certification or professional training is desirable but not mandatory.
