MAC seeks a freelance makeup artist to deliver personalized in-store beauty consultations, makeup applications, and skincare advice within its Coral Springs location. Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup application and consultation services, including skincare and fragrance guidance
- Deliver personalized, inspirational customer service that reflects MAC and Estée Lauder's prestige brand positioning
- Participate in in-store promotional events and visual merchandising initiatives to drive customer engagement
- Operate retail point-of-sale software with proficiency and accuracy
- Maintain visual standards across product displays and in-store aesthetic
- Collaborate with store team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or equivalent professional credential (or demonstrated amateur expertise with strong creative and technical foundation)
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Capacity to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with retail point-of-sale systems
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Expertise or willingness to develop knowledge in fragrance, skincare, and hair consultation
Skills
Experience
Retail makeup or beauty experience is preferred; however, candidates demonstrating high-level creative and technical expertise at amateur level are welcomed. Prior experience with customer-facing retail environments is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; makeup artistry certification highly desirable but not mandatory.
